The Pulse, a new smart pen out on the market is the ultimate pen with ears and a brain. For a costly price of $150-$199, you can write and record simultaneously. This allows the reader to jot down brief notes, but also capture the entirety of what was said at a certain moment of time. Combining the four main levels of human communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, it allows for audio/visual input and output. It has a mobile USB charging cradle to store information and the paper used is called Paper Replay. This dotted paper allows you to record and re-record notes and messages.
